Welcome to the Media Center page of our new website! In the future this page will reflect what the Bennett students are doing in their classrooms and in their Media special classes. It will provide links to all the reference databases the district purchases for us and the websites we used to support the curriculum. The theme for the 2009-2010 school year will be Animal Kingdom. Our closed circuit television morning news show will daily provide the students with information on the characteristics and habitats of all the classifications of animals. Each day we will feature a question based on the information provided that day. Winning students have a chance to win a book for their classroom library. At the end of the school year we will celebrate the year of learning about animals with a week of reading activities! We love to have visitors in the Media Center and welcome parents to come in a check out books with their children. We have 2 Book Fairs a year, one during the Open House week and one in the spring. The Media Center is open for checkout from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
