Bennett Elementary School is over 50 years old, and lies tucked inside Poinsettia Heights, a quaint neighborhood in east Ft. Lauderdale. We like to say that we are the "real world". Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and hail from many countries, speaking many languages. Our staff tends to remain at Bennett throughout the majority of their career. Our office staff has all had children attending Bennett Elementary, and boasts a combined tenure of over 50 years of service to our school! "Family" is a word that we relate not only to our students and parents, but to our staff and stakeholders.

Our teachers are well trained in integrating technology in the education of our students. Our PTA, as well as our Student Council is service oriented, helping to provide for our students, families and community needs.

We partner with several businesses and organizations, who provide educational enhancements, mentor support and volunteer hours to our children's benefit.

Bennett has a copy of our school's "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT" available in our school office for any parent or stakeholder who would like a copy.
