Welcome to Bennett Elementary School. Bennett Elementary is a true “Landmark” nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We look forward to seeing all of our returning students and welcome all of our new students. We have registered many new students who have reassigned to Bennett or are coming through the NCLB Choice Program.
Bennett Elementary has achieved an “A” School Grade for the eighth year under the Governor’s A+School Reform Plan. Our teachers,students, staff and parents are all responsible for this fantastic achievement.
At Bennett, we believe in parents, students and teachers working together striving to “Be The Best We Can Be.” Education is a partnership between thehome and school. Parents, as your child’s first and most important teacher, you can assist in making learning meaningful. I encourage you to become an active, supportive member of our school. Your suggestions are encouraged and your participation is most welcome. With your support and the skill of Bennett’s dedicated teaching staff, I know we can provide the best educational experience your child could possibly have. Let’s work together to make it happen!
